Privacy Policy

Effective date: 25 October 2026

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Beamway Media collects through beamwaymedia.com and in the course of our work, why we collect it, who else handles it, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Where UK data protection law applies to your information, we follow that too.

1. Who we are

Beamway Media is the trading name of Beamway Marketing Services, a business name registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission (registration number BN 9185543). We work from Lagos, Nigeria, and we are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

  • Website: https://www.beamwaymedia.com
  • Email: info@beamwaymedia.com
  • Phone / WhatsApp: +234 906 097 9037
  • Office (for post): Ground Business Hub Plaza, Fourth Floor, Office 10, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Registered address: Beside Funmine Castle, FUTA Campus Main Road, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria

"We", "us" and "our" mean Beamway Marketing Services, trading as Beamway Media. "You" means anyone who visits our website, contacts us or works with us.

2. What we collect and where it comes from

Contact form. Your first and last name, email address, phone number and your message. Please don't include sensitive information, such as health or financial details, in the message.

Free e-book waitlist. Your name and email address, so we can send you one email when the e-book is ready.

Newsletter. If you sign up for new guides on our blog, or tick the box on the contact form, we collect your email address.

Discovery calls. We book calls through Calendly. Calendly collects your name, your email address, the time you choose and anything you write on the booking form. We also keep the notes we take during the call.

WhatsApp, email and social media. If you message us directly, we receive whatever you send, plus your name and number or profile as those platforms show them to us.

Clients. If you hire us, we keep contact details, contracts, invoices, project briefs, the files and logins you share with us, and our correspondence with you.

Information collected automatically when you visit the site:

  • Google Analytics shows us which pages people visit, how they arrived, roughly where they are (country or city), what device and browser they use and how long they stay. It uses cookies and runs only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Sentry records technical errors so we can fix them. When an error happens on a visit, it also makes a session replay: a recording of how the page behaved, such as clicks, scrolling and page changes. Text on the page is masked and images are blocked, so the replay doesn't show what you type. Sentry also records your browser, device and an approximate location based on your IP address.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks that our forms are being filled in by a person, not a bot. It reads technical signals from your browser to do this.
  • Our hosting providers (Vercel for the website, Render for the server that receives form submissions) keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

We don't use advertising pixels on the website. If we add any, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first.

3. Why we use it and our lawful basis

The Nigeria Data Protection Act requires us to tell you the specific lawful basis for each use.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, change your choice in the cookie settings, or email us. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Sending us an enquiry doesn't sign you up to marketing emails.

We don't make decisions about you based only on automated processing, and we don't profile you in ways that have legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies

Essential cookies and similar technologies, such as Cloudflare Turnstile's security check, run because the site can't work safely without them.

Google Analytics cookies are not essential. They are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.

Your browser may send a "Do Not Track" signal. The site doesn't respond to that signal itself. Use the cookie banner to control analytics.

We use providers that commit by contract to protect personal data, for example through data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses. 8. How we protect it

Accounts that hold personal information are protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication where the service offers it. Only the people at Beamway who need the information can see it. Our forms send information over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee that information will never be exposed.

If a breach puts your information at risk, we'll report it to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission within 72 hours of finding out. If it's likely to affect your rights and freedoms, we'll tell you without delay.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
  • correct information that's wrong or incomplete
  • delete your information
  • restrict how we use it
  • give you the information you provided in a format you can take elsewhere
  • stop using it. You can object to marketing at any time, and we'll stop
  • stop processing that relies on your consent, by withdrawing it

Some of these rights have legal limits. For example, we have to keep invoices for tax purposes.

To make a request, email info@beamwaymedia.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We'll reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng). If you're in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We'd appreciate the chance to sort the problem out first, but you don't have to come to us before you complain.

10. Children

Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we'll delete them.

11. Links to other sites

Our pages link to other sites, such as Calendly, WhatsApp and our social media profiles. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy doesn't cover them.

12. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll tell you by email before the change takes effect.
